This Mediterranean style estate was originally built in 1908. The shell of the home was minimally altered, however a new addition on the left was added to provide a garage, kitchen and mudroom for our clients. This was designed during my time at Granoff Architects. Interior design by Sarah Ponden of Granoff Architects. Construction by Brenner Builders.
This Mediterranean style poolhouse was originally the garage for a 1908 estate in New York. The exterior openings were reconfigured and the interiors were reworked to transform the structure into a four bedroom gust house and airy pool house. Designed during my tenure at Granoff Architects. Interior design and landscape architecture by Granoff Architects. Construction by Brenner Builders.
The owner of one of my previously designed houses had decided to convert their three-car garage into a custom kitchen and convert the existing kitchen into a bar/lounge. The existing mudroom was transformed into two powder rooms and a game room. I was fortunate to be able to custom design every inch of this project, from the kitchen cabinetry down to the powder room faucets. This project is what inspired me to name my firm 'Architecture + Design'. I selected and designed light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, countertops, flooring patterns, custom wine refrigerators, vanities, furnishings and finishes. This was designed during my tenure at Granoff Architects with interior design assistance from Robert Valle of Granoff Architects.
