With an innate love of both art and mathematics, Kristine D'Elisa has embraced architecture as a balance of creativity and practicality. Each architectural design is uniquely inspired by her client. Together, they transform ideas into reality.  Together, they make a house into a home.

Prior to launching KKD Architecture + Design,  Kristine was a principal of the largest Architecture, Interior Design and Landscape Architecture firm in Greenwich, CT.   She has designed award-winning custom homes, custom renovations and spec homes ranging in size from 300sf through 30,000 and has collaborated with the most prominent interior designers and builders in the area.   Kristine has also had the pleasure of providing pro bono design work for various non-profit organizations, including Neighbor to Neighbor of Greenwich and the Stamford Museum and Nature Center.

She has served as the Chair of Sustainable Stamford, the City's Sustainability Taskforce, was a founding member of the Southern Connecticut branch of the CT Green Building Council, a board member of the Glenbrook Neighborhood Association and an Alumna Benefactor of Opus, a Darien-based volunteer organization.

Kristine is a proud alumna of the University of Maryland College Park, where she received the award for Excellence in Design.  She received her Master of Architecture degree as well as a Certificate in Urban Design from the prestigious University of Pennsylvania.
